Erin Alsup-Soloman of Giggles & Gab joined us to talk about her customized gift basket business. As someone who has participated in numerous trade shows and vendor fairs, she had lots of great advice for students as they prepare for the upcoming CEO Trade Show (Mark your calendars! April 24th)

Why gift baskets? For Erin, it was a natural fit. She has worked in businesses related to the industry since she was a teenager; first in retail, then in wholesale. With extensive experience in customer service, she brings her skillset together to bring a smile to people’s faces. “I love to elevate a gift and make people feel seen.”

Erin had lots of great advice pertaining to the trade show. “Be friendly and open. The conversation you have with people at the trade show doesn’t have to just be about your business. You’re selling yourself as much as your product.”
