The LLCEO team had the opportunity this morning to meet with Terry McClallen owner of J and M Meat Market!

Born into a family who owned and managed grocery stores, Terry has decades of knowledge on business management, operations, sourcing, inventory and customer service. Terry shared his goal of bringing a long-term, sustainable business contribution to Lincoln and how his vision of a quality, locally sourced meat market came to fruition 6 short months ago!

Not only providing a product that fills a need, Terry mentioned the importance of having a balanced team of employees that compliment your business, as well as having solid customer service skills that allow you to properly engage with your customers. When starting your business or any future endeavors, Terry reminded the group to "start with your why," and to be aware that it "does not need to be perfect right away - make adjustments and start again."
